Bio
Teresa Crouse has been in working in education since 2001, starting at Jack's Creek Elementary as a paraprofessional then moving to Chester County High School and into the classroom. Since teaching, Mrs. Crouse has taught many areas of science at CCHS including Biology, Ecology, Anatomy & Physiology, Physical Science, Greenhouse, Plant Science & WorkKeys. In 2016, Mrs. Crouse initiated a program known as Eagle Earth where students actively intermingle traditional gardening with hydroponics and aquaponics, as well as herbalism through hands on involvement. Mrs. Crouse is also among the first teachers to implement WorkKeys certification for high school students, a program to promote a College & Career Readiness Community. Teaching is not a job for her, it is a passion. Mrs. Crouse has been married to Eric for 32 years, is the mother of 3 children and very proud Gi-Gi to 8 wonderful grandchildren. Teresa was honored to be selected 2018-2019 Teacher of the Year at CCHS as this is not just a profession but a career that has enriched her life in many ways.
