Biography:

I have always loved music from an early age.  I believe that when children find their potential, anything is possible. Music allows for children to explore their strengths and overcome internal fears that overlap in all subject areas.

Experience:

I play trumpet and piano and enjoy teaching. Here are a few of my teaching highlights:

  • Taught High School Choir, General Music, and Group Piano at Jackson Central-Merry: Four Years
  • Worked at Chester County High School: Nine Years
  • Led the FHU Makin' Music Showband: Three Years
  • Chester County Youth Theater Music Director since 2016.

I attended Freed-Hardeman and earned my degree in Vocal/General K-12 music and also a degree in Secondary Education. I also earned my Master's degree in Instructional Leadership in 2022. I love the Education field and believe in the power of learning.
