Bio

Ms. Janet Stallings is a lifelong educator having working in Kentucky and Tennessee. She  is serving as RTI Coordinator and ACT Coach at Chester County High School. She has been in the education field for 44 years.  Her experience spans High School, through Early Childhood Education. Much of her previous experience was in Kentucky where she served as principal for Murray Independent Schools for several years. During recent years she served as a consultant and recovery leader for turnaround schools in Tennessee and Kentucky. Previous Leadership roles include serving as principal, supervisor of instruction and Recovery Leader. She was named Distinquished Educator for the KY Dept. of Education and served as an educational consultant throughout the state. She has also served as a Tennessee Academic Specialist for the TN Dept. of Education. She also served on the administration team and was Instructional Facilitator and Testing Coordinator for Haywood County High School before coming to Chester County. Ms. Stallings received her Bachelors Degree from Union University and Masters Degree from Arkansas State University. She also received Rank I degrees from Murray State University in Education and Western Kentucky University in Educational Leadership and Early Childhood Education. She received the Distinquished Service Award and KY Music Teacher of the Year award from the KY Music Educators Association. She has one daughter who is also an educator at Chester County and three wonderful grandchildren, two are graduates of Chester County High School and the other is a junior this year at CCHS.
