Amber Jewell Garner began her teaching career in 2001 at Craigmont High School in Memphis, TN, where she taught English, Reading in the Content Area, and Theatre Arts. She taught for one year at CCHS in 2006 before moving to Liberty Tech in Jackson where she taught English for three years and coached the Academic Decathlon team. Prior to re-joining the CCHS family in 2018, Garner was an interventionist at West Chester Elementary.
Garner currently teaches English II and Creative Writing. She is also involved in the Chester County Youth Theater program where she stage manages and co-directs with program director Becky Hartle.
A native of Chester County, Garner graduated from CCHS in 1997. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English in 2001. Amber is married to Blake Garner, and her daughter, Amelia, attends CCJHS.
